The edited book ‘Rivers and Society -Landscapes, Governance and Livelihoods‘ by CTR Researcher Dr. Abhik Chakraborty (joint editor as well as chapter author) has been published by Routledge (Taylor and Francis) as a part of Earthscan Studies in Water Resource Management. Along with empirical research on the changing conditions of river basin environments around the world including the history and culture of local societies living in those river basins, river tourism is also discussed in a chapter.
