[Conference presentation] The 15th UNWTO/PATA Forum on Tourism Trends and Outlook

The 15th UNWTO/PATA Forum on Tourism Trends and Outlook was held in Guilin, China and online through a hybrid format between 15 and 17 October. The theme of this year¡¯s forum was ¡®Tourism and Rural Development¡¯.

Prof. Joseph Cheer from Center for Tourism Research, Wakayama University presented on a panel titled: ¡®New opportunities for tourism and rural development: Sustainability, innovation, technology¡¯. His presentation, Therapeutic Landscapes: A Natural Fit for Rural Tourism Development introduced some of his most recent research.
