Overview
A cultural research perspective will dictate the approach to tourism within the Culture & Heritage Unit. The issues relating to the management, conservation and enhancement of the cultural heritage will be examined through innovative approaches such as creative tourism. Historical sites, built environments, urban areas, rural and agricultural landscapes, as well as natural environments and places of distinct living cultures will constitute an important part of the research agenda.
