『日本国際観光映像祭』の運営で観光学部生が活躍！

2019年3月13日(水）、14日（木）と開催された「日本国際観光映像祭」では、観光学部の学生が運営に参加。ウェブサイト作成にはじまり、バックステージで上映映像やサウンドシステムの管理、当日のゲストの接遇や海外ゲストへの通訳、来場者の案内など、運営面で大いに活躍しました。
台湾と日本の相互インバウンド交流にフォーカスした今回の映像祭では、東アジアベストフィルムに選ばれた『【Sea&Light】(Let's meet in Pingtung!)』を監督した台湾のアーティスト、Sandy Huang(黃小玫)さんが来場。台湾?屏東県政府のinformation and International Affairs Department の黄課長と共に、ステージで賞を受け取りました。
Sandyさんは音楽家でもあり、当作品の中で、自身で作詞作曲した楽曲を日本語で歌いながら出演しています。Sandyさんの魅力、楽曲の魅力、そして屏東県の魅力がうまく融合し、誘客力を高めているところが、審査員から高評価を得ました。
表彰式後は、記念品として、和歌山大学マスコット「わだにゃん」のヌイグルミを映像祭スタッフである和歌山大学観光学部生たちからプレゼントし、喜んでいただきました。

The students of Faculty of Tourism participated actively in the operation of the film festival such as preparation of the official website, management of screening films and sound system at backstage, assistance for the guests, translation for the guests from overseas, etc.
Since the film festival this year focused on the tourism promotion to attract tourists mutually between Taiwan and Japan, many films from Taiwan have been submitted. The Best East Asian Film went to the "【Sea&Light】 (Let's meet in Pingtung!)" directed by Sandy Huang, an artist (musician and creator) from Taiwan, and she received the award in person with the Director General of Information and International Affairs Department from Ping Tung County Government.
In this film, she sings a song written and composed by herself in Japanese. It's highly recognized by the juries that the great fusion of the attraction of Sandy as an artist, her song and Ping Tung in this film attracts people to visit Ping Tung.
